Many travellers seek comfort in going back to the past, to places and events that they are familiar with or the historic notion that things were better in the “olden days.” There’s something romantic about the past, in soaking oneself in a bathtub, taking a turn around the temperate gardens and, being served by waiters who have worked in the property for much of their life.
