Palatial Thai – Chakri Palace

Despite an enjoyable meal at Imperial Chakri Palace Restaurant in the premier retail domain of Suria KLCC, the elusive search for authentic Thai food in the city continues.  While the experience in the restaurant is most enjoyable and the food is good, the dishes appear to have veered from the original recipes in order to accommodate fickle Malaysian palates rather than maintain Thai authenticity.  Management probably take a stance of “give them what they want to eat” rather than give them what Thais would eat.
